Students are regularly offered the opportunity to take part in our youth club, which is usually run on evenings after school on select days a week. Social development is a key focus during youth club and students are encouraged to interact with other young people and staff through exciting sporting and creative activities. From time to time we offer in school youth club, where students can have a 'night in' together, playing games, eating their favourite foods and spending quality time together.
Two of our lower school students took part in 'Skate and Create' which ran twice a week for four weeks. The two of them were given the opportunity to design their own skateboard and T-shirt, then learned how to use their skate boards. This allowed our students to work towards an end product whilst learning new skills along the way. The two boys both said they enjoyed taking part in the project and were grateful for the opportunity to attend.
